Your privacy is important to me. This statement explains what happens when you visit my website – what information is collected and how it is used. Explaining this is a requirement under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), which came into force on 25 May 2018.

Any contact between us about my services will have been initiated by you. If you choose to use any of my services, I will treat the personal information you give me during our work together with care and confidentiality, and in compliance with GDPR.

If we work together, I will give you a written statement about what information I keep, how I store it securely, arrangements to delete it, and your rights in relation to all of this. We both sign the document – me to state my commitment to protection of your data, you to give your consent to these arrangements.

Cookies do not consitute a security risk, but some people prefer to disable cookies. Web industry recommended practice is that websites which use cookies make this known prominently on their site. My website does not currently use cookies and I have no plans to change this.

My web host collects data about visits to my site in order to make it as useful as possible. This also promotes security by checking for unusual activity, hacking attempts, and other potential threats. The data that is collected also facilitates internal operations such as troubleshooting, data analytics, and research and testing. Data about visits to the site are generally anonymous or pseudoanonymous.

Information collected for technical purposes may include which pages you have visited (including the date and the time), which services and pages you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, files downloaded, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from a page, and other metrics related to your visit to my site.


Along with my web designer I have tried to make sure that this website conforms to all legislation and best practice regarding accessibility.
