About Me as a Counsellor

I've always been interested in people. During 26 years as a civil servant, I was a personnel manager, and worked to improve information and support for carers, and victims of crime, witnesses and bereaved relatives. I found that what made a difference was listening to people and exploring with them their needs, hopes and challenges. I saw and believe in the difference this can make so I left my job to train as a person-centred counsellor. It's a decision I've never regretted.
